This is my testimony
Pressure came up on me
Trouble overflowing
My peoples done left me lonely
But the Lord of all worlds came for me
Spoke a word on my soul
And set me free

Verse One
There was a baby born in Nazareth
Things was hazardous, disastrous
Common mind can’t fathom it
Infant faces the battle, all time
Born of a bloodline, placed on the front line
To be the star sign
And He was chosen by God to be the people original
Come with knowledge subliminal
Build and erecting the temple
When odds overwhelming, surrounding, chances minimal
Came to understand that that was the principle
Read the book you see
Found out the same God working with me
If I could master, soldier the most high
Keep your mind on His mercy, and your head to the sky
He said whatever you was, I’ll make you new when I’m through
And no matter how hard it is, I’ll stand by you
Now I know I’m gonna make it, ‘cause the devil can’t take it
Paul and Silas was in prison, the chains they start to breaking
You can tell me ‘bout my past, what I used to be
But you be messing with God when you be messing with me

Verse Two
So I picked up the scripture, back from the beginning
When life began, in the garden came the sinning
An apple on a tree tempt a man and a woman
From God they disobey, that’s a very bad omen
That day to this one, came the separation
In the tongue of every nation, and in life situation
The people on one side, God be on the other
Nobody in the world act like sisters and the brothers
No bridge was in the gap, we gonna need a God loving
So He made a plan, ‘cause God did understand
Sin came by one man, so love by one man
Sent a messiah, with a spiritual fire
To save what was lost and raise it up higher
Dead from the tomb, bring light to dark rooms
Joy and happiness out yo the world of the gloom
You don’t know where I was, but if you saw what I see
You would stop being cute and you would praise Him with me.

Verse Three
So now I got to tell it, from man to man
Shake a few hands, the plan, now in the Christian band
Because I won’t go back to the trouble again
And I won’t fall down, this time I’m gone stand
He didn’t save me ‘cause I had it going on
He had to save me ‘cause I had it so wrong
Only the Lord could make the sacrifice
At Calvary, to free the slavery of you and me
If the Lord been good to you, raise your hand up G
Amazing grace, love beyond degree
Sit high and look low on a wretch like me
Grace, love, mercy, and spirit of forgiveness
Can’t understand why you wouldn’t want to live this
Just wanna to come and drop a rhyme on my mind
‘Cause tomorrow ain’t promised and you running out of time
If you wallowing in misery and looking for a way
My responsibility, offer you Christ today
